This is rather obvious, but I love travelling.
A few weeks ago, I was asked why I started travelling. I have to admit that that question surprised me due to the fact that I grew up in a family that loved travelling (and did a lot of it), so it had never occurred to me that there was life without travelling. I explained the above to the person, and told her that I didn’t ‘start’ travelling, I just continued on with a lifestyle that I had known when I became an adult.
I love visiting new places and experiencing new cultures and people. I feel that I learn a lot by travelling, and I love to learn. I also feel that as I experience new people and places, it helps me better understand and relate to mankind and become more of a ‘citizen of the world’. For me, to travel is to live and I am very happy that I am able to do a lot of it.
